About this role

WeSchool will launch a new global B2C EdTech initiative during H1-2022 and is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead its growth. The initiative - the opposite of the usual uni-directional eLearning - is part of our internationalization roadmap and will leverage the cooperative and hands-on “WeSchool Method” for hybrid distance learning and will be focused on professional development in the Tech space, specifically in Web3 and NoCode.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a very strong business acumen, very good understanding of the EdTech/Bootcamp market, and extensive experience in B2C and B2B to drive the growth of our new initiatives.

What's in it for you?

  • Define and sharpen the offering strategy (USP included), the go-to-market strategy, and the monetization strategy together with the WeSchool leadership team
  • Lead the digital marketing funnels, the B2C conversion efforts, and sales strategies running a process for continual lead generation
  • Closing sales to hit monthly targets.
  • Define a partnerships strategy and execute it to fuel a B2B pipeline and career placement partnership for our students

About you

Basic Qualifications

  • A strong track record in the go-to-market and sales of a digital EdTech service or product (ideally you were leading the marketing and/or business team of an innovative B2C digital courses/EdTech player)
  • An excellent understanding of EdTech, specifically bootcamps and ideally marketplaces
  • Strong digital business skills
  • A strong digital marketing background
  • Experience in launching digital products from scratch
  • 5+ years of experience in EdTech
  • Can clearly articulate and present ideas and concepts in a compelling way and interface with cross-functional teams
  • Native English speakers or C1 level

About Us

We have recently closed a €6.4 million Series A funding round to scale technology and enter new markets.

We provide an online classroom collaboration e-learning platform developed in-house by our Tech team that has enabled 1.7M (20% of) Italian students not to miss school - the other 2 platforms were Google and Microsoft - and to amplify their learning experience by leveraging digital tools during the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020.

We are a young, fast-growing, and fast-paced team that values collaboration and innovation as keys to reaching our mission. Our company is home to almost 50 full-time employees. And we plan to double our team in 2022 to push on our international growth with a full-remote first and objective-based approach.
